Leighton Broadcasting is pleased to announce Stephanie Theisen has been promoted to Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Theisen will also maintain her role as General Sales Manager for the St. Cloud market through 2020.
"The addition of Theisen as VP of Sales and Marketing will support the structure of our company as we continue to grow and expand," said Bob Leighton, CEO of Leighton Enterprises. “Stephanie has a successful track record in sales, team building, and hiring. We are looking forward to her focus in those areas in markets outside of our corporate headquarters, in 2020 and beyond.”
As VP of Sales and Marketing, Theisen will lead development of strategic sales plans based on company goals to promote sales growth and client satisfaction for the organization. Specific responsibilities include business and market development, strategic direction for promotion and advertising, sales growth, and client satisfaction. She will also oversee the sales management team’s activity, team development/hiring and revenue growth.

Theisen began her career at Leighton Broadcasting in 2003 as an intern in the sales department. With a degree in Marketing from St. Cloud State University, Theisen was soon promoted to Account Executive, and accepted the role of General Sales Manager in 2014. In 2018, she was promoted to Executive Director of Leighton Events and Director of Marketing in addition to her General Sales Manager duties.
In 2015, Theisen was recognized by Rising Through the Ranks, a program for women in Radio Management, and is a graduate of the MIW Mentee program.
