Since the launch of our Gratitude on Repeat Campaign, Leighton Media has pushed to connect nonprofits with radio resources to help their cause come to life. It’s part of our passion to serve, connect, and celebrate our communities since 1975. Through our own marketing campaign including: broadcast, social and direct mail, we asked our clients and listeners to nominate their favorite nonprofit to win 21 radio advertisements per week, for 13 consecutive weeks. Additionally, the winning nonprofits will meet with one of our account executives who will help them create, as many as, three unique messages for the them to use in their business efforts.

We're pleased to share the winners for the 2021 Gratitude on Repeat Campaign.

The Mission: To encourage people of all skill levels to participate in trail racing events, to get outdoors and to enjoy the beautiful trails in Southeast Minnesota. A percentage of the profits from Storm Trail Race events go to organizations that assist with Youth Mental Health treatment and awareness.

Mandy and Bill Hansel share, "We are honored to have been chosen as the winners of the Gratitude on Repeat prize package! The Storm Trail Race Series hosts trail events for all experience and skill levels which raise money for local youth mental health programs. Being awarded this advertising package will raise awareness of our organization and our events. This will help us to reach more possible participants in the Leighton Media listening area. More participants means more money raised for youth mental health! We want to thank everyone who nominated our organization and we look forward to working with Leighton Media in the upcoming year!”

These nonprofits live and breathe their causes. I find it incredibly moving to put their messages of gratitude, to Leighton Media and all who participated in nominating them, to help them win, into this blog. Their gratitude is apparent and their missions are amazing.

To our nonprofit partners, across all of our markets, we hope our radio advertising at Leighton Media strengthens brand within the community. We are forever grateful for your services.
