Music is considered a large part of Americans’ daily lives as they listen to four hours and five minutes of audio each day. 54% of audio consumption is through radio, 16% is through owned music such as digital music files and CD’s, 15% is through streaming, and the rest of the 15% are other forms of consumption such as podcasts and television music channels.
